Zombies 3 (2022) / Scream (2022) - Do we gotta?

Dan and Brian check back in on two franchises they'd previous reviewed, the first of the show's "Do We Gotta?" topic revisits.
First, Brian talks through the bizarre, campy finale to the Zombies trilogy of Disney tween musicals. Does the film bring proper closure to the supernatural racism metaphorical universe, or is it best avoided?
Then, Dan breaks down "Five Cream," the new Scream movie. They talk through the questionable villain revelations, the themes of toxic fandom, and overlaps with previous Scream entries.

The Great Race (1965) - It’s a pie, pie, pie, pie fight

Brian shares with Dan an epic-scale comedy from the mid-60's, a classic "roadshow" style film complete with intermission and pie fight. Bears (2014) vs. Grizzly Man (2005) - Amazing world of bears

"Violent Ends" is back! Our semi-recurring format -- where we compare and contrast two movies with similar set-ups but very different conclusions -- gets a bear-themed outing. Dan shares two documentary excursions to Katmai National Park in Alaska to document some ursine friends.
First up is Bears, the 2014 family-friendly Disneynature film, where (surprise!) John C. Reilly narrates a year in the life of three bears. Then, Dan and Brian discuss the tragic fate of Timothy Treadwell, the bear-obsessed conservationist as they talk through the Werner Herzog documentary portrait Grizzly Man.

It's Brian's turn to battle a bout of COVID as he shares with Dan one of his all time favorites, Walk Hard, the musical biopic parody from 2007, in addition to its two main inspirations: Walk the Line (2005) and Ray (2004). Join as they relive the ups and downs and many quotable moments of this John C. Reilly vehicle.
