The Goods is back with an epic episode bringing religious scholar Gavin McDowell back to the podcast. The group take a deep dive into the Munster Anabaptist rebellion of 1534 and 1535 via its German miniseries adaptation. Join as they talk through the challenges of getting their hands on the film (including manually translated subtitles), the historical and backdrop of the rebellion, their varying levels of appreciation for the stylings of Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History" recap of the event, young Christoph Waltz's charisma, the strange adaptational choices in the film, and the event's legacy.
